Our careers
At Amazon, we don’t just offer you a job—we can launch your career.

We believe that all employees have the potential to grow. It doesn't matter what background they come from or where they start out in Amazon. We know that talent comes in many forms. If people are good at what they do and want to learn new skills, we want to help them.

Amazon will invest £10 million over three years to train to up to 5,000 employees in new skills in the UK and support the government’s investment programme.
This training will be offered through Career Choice. The Amazon programme pays course fees for employees who have expressed interest in pursuing careers outside the company—and thereby boosts the skills and employability of British workers.
Our work environment allows almost anyone—regardless of background, skill level, or experience—to work and grow with confidence.
We’re proud to hire people with no formal qualifications and to help them gain the education and skills needed to further develop their careers.

  • “The apprenticeship at Amazon has been a brilliant experience and has offered me many opportunities that I couldn’t get elsewhere. The skills and knowledge I have gained through the course have completely changed my mindset and challenged me to focus on finding the solution for every problem. I have loved having the opportunity to work alongside so many amazing Amazon engineers and would encourage everyone to sign up and give the apprenticeship a shot, you’ll never know what it’s like if you don’t try.

  • "I chose to join Amazon as it's an active job and the site is very close to my home. I didn't know what to expect before starting, but honestly, it's one of the best moves I've made in my career. I've been given so much support by the team here, everyone has been patient and supportive as I learn new skills. My manager has created an environment where everyone feels valued and that we're all a vital part of the team."
